Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Slim: the latest rumors on the next Samsung smartphones

Little by little, Samsung is losing surprise around its future Galaxy S25. The fault lies with sources who are far too informed about the South Korean manufacturer's plans, thus delivering the technical sheet well before its time.

Galaxy S25 Slim

Let's start with the new kid in the Galaxy S range, the Slim version. On Twitter/X, @erenylmaz075 revealed this November 28, 2024, information rich in meaning: the model number of the Galaxy S25 Slim, SM-S937B.

Innocuous at first glance, this sequence of characters ends with a key letter, “B”. This simply means that the model discovered in the database is an international version.

Samsung does not intend to limit the Galaxy S25 Slim in a few specific markets, as is the case for the Galaxy Z Fold SE, but release it everywhere. For information, model numbers ending in “U” at Samsung concern US versions, and “N” for Korean versions.

Concerning the release window of this ultra-thin model coming to compete with the future iPhone 17 Airnothing new. Rumors previously leaned towards an announcement during the spring, just after theiPhone SE 4.

Galaxy S25 and S25+

Journalist Roland Quandt from WinFuture then came to share images of the SIM card drawer of the Galaxy S25 and S25+. The opportunity to discover this November 28, 2024 via Bluesky key information for the design of these smartphones: their colors.

We thus notice that the five shades chosen for this generation are black, green, purple, blue and white. Previous rumors were already leaning towards these colors, with in passing a chosen name for the blue and green: “sparkling”. Looking at the colors on these SIM drawers, unfortunately nothing seems to be going in this direction at the moment…

Finally, the American certification body (FCC) recently shared good news in its database for the Galaxy S25 and S25+: the transition to wifi 7 technology. These two models follow the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and more recently the Galaxy Z Fold SE.

We also learn that ultra-wideband (UWB) will remain limited to the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
