Galaxy Tab S10 FE: Samsung discreetly announces the upcoming release of its affordable model
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE, eagerly awaited by fans of affordable tablets, will soon complete Samsung's range of touchscreen slates. If the South Korean company recently unveiled its high-end models, the Galaxy Tab S10+ And S10 Ultrathe arrival of this “Fan Edition” (FE) version now seems imminent.
A budget-friendly alternative to premium variants
Samsung's FE tablets, known for offering good performance at a reduced price, fill a gap in the Galaxy Tab S10 range, which this year is skipping the standard model to focus on more expensive versions. Although Samsung is yet to officially announce the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, hints in its online promotions confirm its imminent launch. An American offer indeed offers a one-year subscription to the note-taking application Goodnotes for the purchase of a model from the Galaxy Tab S10 series or… Galaxy Tab S10 FE, before July 31, 2025.
This “Fan Edition” should offer several variations, according to the site GalaxyClubprobably including a classic model and a 5G or large format model, like the Galaxy Tab S9 FE released in 2023. These tablets would aim to offer excellent value for money with solid features suitable for users looking for a large screen and good performance without breaking the bank.
An attractive technical sheet
Early reports suggest that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE will come with new improvements, such as a 12-megapixel main camera, a big step up from the previous generation's 8-megapixel camera. The device could further feature an in-house Exynos 1580 chip, an upgrade over the Exynos 1380 used in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. This should provide better performance and increased energy efficiency.
In terms of design, the Tab S10 FE could feature a brighter screen, improved battery life, and support for 45W fast charging. This model would therefore be an ideal alternative for those looking for a versatile tablet without the high prices ultra-premium models.
When will the Galaxy Tab S10 FE be released?
Although the exact launch date remains unclear, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE could be announced as early as January 2025, alongside the launch of the Galaxy S25. Another possibility would be a release in the spring, at the same time as the Galaxy A56. In any case, the tablets should be available well before the end of the Goodnotes promotion announced in July 2025.
