Xiaomi 15: making calls without a network is possible with this technology

The HyperOS 2 update for the Xiaomi 15 notably fixes crashes and issues with the display of games with jerks. But the real novelty is none other than the Xingchen Netcom system, unveiled during the launch of the range on October 29.

This is a communications technology that allows calls to be made without an internet or cellular connection. The system operates within a 3.5 kilometer radius and penetrates up to seven layers of walls for connectivity in even the most difficult to access environments.

For the moment, Xingchen Netcom is in the testing phase and we expect its deployment via an update in December 2024. Proof that Xiaomi does not lack ambition to allow access to calls in situations where connection to a network is impossible or limited.
