As always, while waiting for official announcements from the interested party (here Apple), the conditional remains in place regarding the information that will follow. According to the financial investment company Hyundai Motor Securities, the Apple firm plans to release no less than five products equipped with OLED screens in the coming years, including an iPad Mini and a Macbook Air.

iPads and Macbooks doped with OLED

Rumors surrounding such iterations are certainly not new. But, because of alleged supply concerns, Apple will have been forced to take its time to get started, despite real demand. Hyundai Motor Securities therefore produces a roadmap of potential future exits.

In it, we first find the mention of the two iPad Pros released this year, namely the iPad Pro 11 and iPad Pro 13. Let us also remember that another rumor mentions a iPad Pro OLED with an M5 chip for 2025. The rest is more interesting, since apart from the latter, no other OLED product should arrive next year.

Postponements and uncertainties

According to the document, Apple would wait until 2026 to release an OLED iPad Mini and an OLED Macbook Pro. Then, in 2027 it would be the turn of the iPad Air, at the heart of rumors for a while now. Finally, in a distant 2028, the Macbook Air could in turn benefit from OLED processing.

Another rumor suggested that because the cost was too high, this Macbook Air OLED, whose late arrival here seems postponed compared to previous rumors, could ultimately have been abandoned completely. We therefore hope that you have not yet put away your tweezers as the future of such a product is currently uncertain.
