After reviewing his rising termination fees over the past week, Free is back for something new. On Twitter/X this December 1, 2024, a publication from the operator actually promises the very imminent arrival of a new product.
“We’re rolling out the red carpet for him. See you on December 3,” announces the post. Added to this is a 20-second video highlighting what looks like a Freebox Ultra in the dark with red lights.
In addition to meeting us again this Tuesday, the last seconds then include the words “Limited Edition”, and of course a Free logo. The message is therefore clear: the Freebox Ultra is preparing to benefit from an exclusive edition for these end-of-year holidays.
According to the video, it seems that a new color is in the program. Although red is highlighted in this short extract, we rather think that these lights were intended to enhance a version dressed all in black. This could also be the sign of red LEDs to enhance the latest premium internet box from the operator.
The good news is that we won't have to wait long to be sure about these end-of-year revelations from Free. No announcement time has been shared, which suggests that the launch could very well take place this Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the morning, during the afternoon or even in the evening.
Of course, Les Numériques will keep you informed of the operator's end-of-year news as soon as it becomes official!
