OnePlus 13: the smartphone will indeed be sold in Europe
The smartphone has been in the news since the Snapdragon Summit organized by Qualcomm last October, and was made official in the weeks following the presentation event of the Snapdragon 8 Elitethe high-end chip from the American. The terminal is also available in its native country, China, and since then, the international availability of the device has been awaited. Or rather, it was long overdue, since the brand itself is now providing more information.
All it takes is a trip to the American OnePlus site, but also its French version, to note that the manufacturer invites interested parties to subscribe to notifications of availability of this famous OnePlus 13. They can also, upon payment of one euro, try to acquire one of the 1500 lots of goodies of the brand put on sale in batches of 500 pieces on December 18, January 2 and January 6, 2025. Subscribers to the brand's information register in passing for a competition allowing them to win a trip, and whose winner ( e) will be announced on January 7.
The end of these two operations therefore has the merit of indicating to us, in addition to the availability of the OnePlus 13 in the countries eligible for the competition (for the case of Europe, these are the following: Germany, Italy, Denmark, Poland, Finland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Belgium, France, Sweden, Spain, Greece, Austria, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Estonia, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Slovakia, as well as the United Kingdom), the approximate date of availability of the device. It will logically take place just after these accessory pre-sales and this competition, around January 6/7.
A price still to be specified
The unknown concerns the exact technical sheet of the smartphone, with brands sometimes applying some modifications, particularly in terms of battery and charging powers, between their Chinese version and their international version. We have summarized the complete technical sheet of the OnePlus 13 in this articleand for now, we can expect a premium device including a large 6.82-inch Oled screen, the famous Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, but also a 6000 mAh battery and a triple photo module from Hasselblad. The real unknown, apart from possible hardware changes, lies in the crux of the matter: the price of the smartphone, which, for its part, is still to be defined. We simply know that it costs a minimum of 4,499 yuan in China, or a little less than €600. Note that this price is 200 yuan higher than that of OnePlus 12 at its launch in China, a price which resulted in a starting price of €969 in France. Finally, it remains to be seen whether this OnePlus 13 is expected to debut alone in Europe and will join our buying guide…
