Windows 11 24H2: Microsoft's big update arrives on more PCs

For the end of 2024, Microsoft has not carried out a massive deployment of its latest update Windows 11 24H2. Indeed, only people who had activated the option Get the latest updates as soon as they become available have been able to taste it so far.

For others, the Redmond firm has finally taken the plunge. There support page related to Windows 11 24H2 mentions that the update is now offered to “more eligible devices running Windows 11”more precisely PCs running Windows 11 22H2 or 23H2.

Unsurprisingly, Microsoft mentions the steps to take to install the update: Settings > Windows Update > Check for Windows Updates. For those whose PC is running Windows 11 22H2 or 23H2, all you have to do is click on Download & install to start the process.

After this version, Microsoft will release one more for the end of the year via a final Patch Tuesday. The opportunity to bring some additional new features, but also to apply important fixes to Windows 11 24H2 bugs.
