Shimano Deore CN-M6100 chain
The Shimano Deore CN-M6100 chain ensures fast, precise and smooth shifting in both directions, even under maximum load, thanks to its precisely formed contact surfaces with the teeth of the Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring and Hyperglide+ cassette. The SIL-TEC coated inner legs also significantly increase durability.
Dynamic Chain Engagement+
Dynamic Chain Engagement+ is a special tooth profile that has been developed for use on 1-speed chainring setups for XC, enduro and trail riding. It ensures better chain guidance and thus allows quieter pedaling – even on uneven terrain. Guiding the chain of each tooth reduces wear on the entire profile.
Hyperglide+
Traditional Hyperglide technology provides smooth shifting with small shift ramps that guide the chain to the next higher sprocket. Hyperglide+ takes over this operation, but also applies it in reverse, to prevent the chain from dropping when downshifting. The result is a smooth and consistent gear change in both directions, without jerks and without the pedaling cadence being thrown out of whack.
SIL-TEC
SIL-TEC is a superior, modern coating process that improves system performance through the use of integrated fluorine particles. SIL-TEC products are smoother and wear less in all conditions.
