Entry formalities into Morocco for French people:

For a stay in Morocco, you must have a valid passport covering the entire planned stay.

The issuance of a return pass to France will not be possible for people who have entered Morocco without a French passport valid for the entire duration of the stay.

No pass may be issued by a Consulate General of France in Morocco to a French citizen:

  • arrived in Morocco without a French passport and wishing to return to France at the end of his Moroccan stay.

In both cases, you must request the renewal or issuance of a new biometric passport at a Consulate General of France in Morocco. This process takes approximately 4 weeks from the appointment date and subject to the presentation of all the supporting documents required for this purpose. Appointments must be made online on the website of the Consulate General of France in your area of ​​residence.

A passport is compulsory, including for groups on organized tourist trips.

Admission to Moroccan territory is no longer possible on presentation of the national identity card alone.
