Because it adopts OLED DCI-P3 specifications guaranteeing much more faithful colors than average with great black depth, minimal latency and even significant viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical. OLED involves a glossy treatment which revives the colors but is subject to reflections in bright environments (e.g. outdoors). With its Full HD definition and its 16:9 format, the screen is in any case very suitable for displaying High Definition content such as videos.

Performance, battery life of the Asus VivoBook Go 15 OLED S1504FA-L1039W

The Asus VivoBook Go 15 OLED S1504FA-L1039W is a thin and light laptop equipped with a very faithful color screen intended for everyday use on the go.

Quite easy to transport thanks to its controlled weight and its finesse, it should be able to last around 10 hours on battery in light use as shown our test dedicated to a similar model.

It must be said that it relies on energy-efficient components. Starting with its AMD processor Ryzen 7000 low consumption Mendocino Ryzen 5 7200U Quad Core, here coupled with 8 GB of RAM to provide good performance in everyday use, such as office automation and Internet surfing.

Of course, thanks to this laptop PC, you can watch photos and videos using the Radeon 610M graphics part housed in the Ryzen 5, which is however not suitable for gaming.

On the storage side, we find a 512 GB SSD, capacity in line with the standard for hard drives. But the SSD offers several advantages such as greater robustness, reduced energy consumption, silent operation and even greater speed.

In practice, the SSD thus guarantees much better fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis than a simple hard drive.
Thanks to the SSD, starts/shutdowns are carried out much faster, for example, as are application launches.

Of course, in the event that 512 GB is too tight, you can use an external storage unit such as a USB 3.0/USB-C device to benefit from fast transfers.
