Silo (Apple TV+): good news for fans of the series with Rebecca Ferguson

Apple TV+ will eventually solve the mysteries of Silo. The streaming platform has indeed announced the renewal of the series adapted from Hugh Howey's dystopian trilogy for a season 3 as well as a season 4 which will conclude its story.

Two more seasons for Silo

While the diffusion of second season of Silo continues on Apple TV+ (available in France via Canal+), fans of the series led by Rebecca Ferguson can rejoice to learn that she will be able to complete the story told in Howey's novels, and thus resolve the mysteries of the silos.

“Adapting Hugh Howey’s novels in partnership with Apple has been an incredibly rewarding experience and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell this story in its entirety over four seasons” underlined the creator of the show Graham Yost in a press release.

As a reminder, this series tells “the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth, taking refuge several meters underground to protect themselves from the toxic and deadly outside world. But no one knows when or why the silo was built and anyone who tries to find the answer is exposed to fatal consequences.”

Rebecca Ferguson plays the character of Juliette Nichols, an engineer searching for answers after the murder of a loved one.

“I love playing Juliette on screen and I am immensely proud of what we have managed to create with Silo,” declared the actress who is also an executive producer of the series.

“I look forward to diving, alongside our partners at Apple, Graham and the entire team, into these final two seasons which promise to be captivating and will bring this dystopian story to a beautiful conclusion.”

In this second season (which we really liked), Ferguson stars alongside Steve Zahn, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McCrae, Remmie Milner, Common and Iain Glen.

While waiting to know what the series will reveal in its seasons 3 and 4, the broadcast of season 2 of Silo will end on Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025.
