The oil change consists of changing your vehicle's engine oil and oil filter at a minimum in order to maintain an efficient engine for longer. Engine oil helps reduce fuel consumption, cleans the engine and prevents overheating, lubricates mechanical parts located in the engine, eliminates impurities and prevents corrosion. It is also essential to allow the engine to cool. Note that the oil level drops over time: this is why it is essential to check it regularly and top up the oil if necessary.
