Free Mobile initiates the end of 2G for its customers

Having already turned off its 2G antennas in January 2023, Free Mobile uses the Orange network to satisfy its customers still stuck in the GSM era. Unfortunately, the historic operator is also preparing to abandon this frequency band from the end of 2025.

To help them take the plunge, several mobile offers and payment solutions are available. Free Mobile talks in particular about the Nokia 225 4G at €15, then €13/month for 3 months. This monthly payment in 4 installments is also free of charge, which adds one more argument to take the plunge.

The media Univers Freebox also shares the possibility of buying a Doro Leva L30 for €29 for the first month, then €25/month for 3 months or even the HMD Pulse at €35, then €33/month for the following three months.

Obviously, the offers proposed are exclusive to customers who have received the email from Free Mobile. Moreover, it is only possible to purchase these models by going to a physical Free store.
