Apple iPhone 17: this design change would ultimately not happen
The design of the next generation of Apple smartphones does not yet seem to be well known to informants. We also learned last week that the photo module would drastically change design with the iPhone 17 range, and more specifically the Air model.
Instead of taking the shape of a square and embedding the three sensors in the form of a triangle, these models would have an oblong module placed horizontally. To make it easier to imagine, these next Apple models would look like the Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL.
However, we shouldn't dwell too much on this design, since another renowned informant is not at all convinced. Instant Digital actually shared this week that this horizontal bar would not be used on iPhone 17. “The layout of the three cameras is always triangular”he shares.
For 9to5Mac, these discrepancies confirm that sources from the production chain do not allow us to be sure of the final choices made by the manufacturers. “Apple often has different ideas and can talk to different suppliers, for example to discuss the feasibility of manufacturing a particular concept,” specifies the media.
The Apple firm is therefore testing various designs, which seems completely normal about ten months after its announcement. As a bonus, the company could also have fun giving false leads in order to hide its true intentions.
It therefore seems that we still have to wait to hear more consistent rumors between the source differences in the environment, and this, hoping that Apple does not play games with them.
