Monster Hunter Wilds follows the story of a special research squad investigating the Forbidden Lands. Fully voiced for the first time in the series, the hunter is accompanied on his journey by a group of colorful characters: Alma, the guild manager; the trusted blacksmith, Gemma; the young and mysterious Nata and your partner Palico! It is all together that they set off to discover an unexplored frontier where surprises await them in every corner.
A living world
The Forbidden Lands span several biomes with dynamic identities, such as the Windward Plains and the Scarlet Forest. Ecosystems alternate between seasons full of life and unforgiving climates where monsters fight for limited resources. Changes in the landscape will impact the creatures that live there and cause hunters to adapt as well.
New monsters and wildlife
Monster Hunter Wilds features a wide variety of new creatures, ranging from herds of small species to large monsters, some of which roam the Forbidden Lands in packs. The creatures have thus found their place in these lands by adapting to their habitat and possess unique attacks and behaviors. Players can also ride the Seikret, a new agile mount that allows hunters to traverse difficult terrain, sharpen their weapons while moving, or even switch between weapons while hunting.
Advanced hunting action
The frenetic fighting action, emblematic of the series, is back! Hunt down monsters with a wide range of new moves, special abilities, equipment and much more. Transitions between cutscenes and combat now run smoother, keeping you in the thick of the action and providing a new level of immersion.
Multiplayer crossplay
