The RTL515 is a Garmin radar that connects the bike and the smartphone with the aim of warning vehicles approaching from behind. The design of this model is compact and elegant; its vertical position allows the best placement of the legs, allowing comfortable handling. Its rear radar offers multiple viewing options.
This Garmin electronic device includes bright lights that have visibility even in broad daylight. Its configuration has visual and audible alerts up to 140 meters; you can also activate platoon mode which generates a low intensity flash.
One of the advantages it offers is ease of assembly. It is also compatible with other applications such as Varia which allows you to overlay maps with radar alerts. Battery life is 16 hours in solid mode. The package includes the mounting kit, cables and documentation.
