Just this morning, we echoed a new partnership between Orange and Disney. At the end of the day of December 20, it is Free's turn to issue its press release to announce more or less the same thing.

The announcement is less detailed than at Orange, but it remains interesting for subscribers, especially as they will not have to pay anything.

Disney in search of new allies in France

From January 1, 2025, two channels will be added at no additional cost to the basic package for all Freebox subscribers: Disney Channel and National Geographic. The first should please the little ones with numerous cartoons, while the second will probably satisfy fans of documentaries.

To access it, it will be possible to go through both Freebox TV andOQEE (Smart TV, smartphone, computer…), or even a 5G box. These two channels, accessible on channels 49 and 60 of the Freebox, join the more than 230 already integrated.

Disney+ still available on Free

In addition, Free indicates that it has renewed its distribution agreement for the Disney+ streaming service. The latter is integrated free of charge (Standard with advertising) in the Freebox Ultra offer, and three months for Freebox Pop subscribers.

With this partnership, Disney definitively confirms its desire to impose its content through ever more channels in Franceand this despite his divorce from Canal+.
