Galaxy S25, S25+ & S25 Ultra: here is the release date of the next Samsung smartphones!
A new generation of high-end smartphones is about to be launched: the Galaxy S25. Everything suggests that Samsung is preparing an officialization via a Galaxy Unpacked for January 22, 2025.
We are talking here about the announcement period, not marketing. Good news, the media FNNews shared this highly anticipated information on December 23, 2024. Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra would thus arrive on the shelves this February 7.
Samsung would therefore opt for a release date delayed by two weeks after unveiling its smartphones. A practice which is not surprising, given that the South Korean firm had already opted for a similar delay between the announcement and availability of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23.
Without much surprise, the media adds that the Galaxy S25s will once again be entitled to a pre-order period, allowing you to benefit from exclusive advantages. For the Galaxy S24it was possible to have a doubling of storage capacity at no cost, a trade-in bonus or even a free Galaxy Watch 6.
FNNews recalls some new features of the Galaxy S25, in particular the transition to 16 GB of RAM for the Ultra version or even the use of the chip Snapdragon 8 Elite on all models or even the long awaited One UI 7 update.
Finally, we can read that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim would be well presented at the event. However, this model focusing on finesse and a solid technical sheet would reach a few months before being available.
According to the latest rumors, a release could take place next spring to directly compete with theiPhone SE 4expected for March 2025. This would also be an opportunity to catch Apple and its iPhone 17 Airan ultra-thin model which would only be launched from the start of the school year in September 2025.
