Apple: here are the new products planned for early 2025
While the gifts have now been opened and the New Year is fast approaching, Apple is planning in the shadows a start to 2025 rich in new products. Moreover, 9to5Mac has put together a more than interesting summary of the products planned for this period.
As mentioned in a recent publication by Mark Gurman, the MacBook Air would arrive with fanfare. Scheduled before spring 2025Apple's new ultra-thin computer would benefit from several developments compared to the current generation: M4 chip, nanotextured screen option and 12 Mpx webcam with centered frame function.
After this launch, Apple would bet everything on the smartphone market with a new affordable model, the iPhone SE 4. This generation would clearly reinvent the wheel compared to the iPhone SE 3:

- Face ID
- A18 chip
- Apple 5G modem
- 8 GB of RAM
- Apple Intelligence
- 48MP sensor of the iPhone 16

Faced with all these developments, the price would increase accordingly. We would potentially go up to a maximum price of €599, or €70 more compared to theiPhone SE 3.
As for tablets, Apple is planning three models for the start of 2025: an iPad 11 with a new chip, sufficient to run Apple Intelligence; and two iPad Air (11-inch and 13-inch) with M3 chip.
The new entry-level model would arrive in the spring, while the Air versions would be made official in the second quarter of 2025. Note, the wifi and Bluetooth chips made by Apple could be included.
The start of the year would then mark the introduction of a new home automation device: the HomePad. Here we would be facing a mix between an iPad and a HomePod acting as a connected screen.
According to Mark Gurman, its launch would take place during the month of March 2025. According to information from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the product would be potentially offbeat at the next WWDC in June or the third quarter of next year.
