Two 45″ monitors for the LG UltraGear GX9 range

The flagship model is called 45GX990A. As its name suggests, it is a 45-inch screen. According to LG, this is the world's first OLED gaming monitor with 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160, 125ppi). Its 21:9 ratio promises “better gaming immersion” than with a classic 16:9 ratio, while offering better compatibility than with a 32:9 ratio.

Designed for gaming, but also productivity, the 45GX990A has another specificity: it is foldable. LG indicates that it is possible to go from a flat panel to a curved panel at 900R in a few seconds. The refresh rate is not specified, unlike the GtG response time (0.03ms), or the presence of presets to quickly alternate between different resolutions and refresh rates.

Probably more reasonable (because marketing dates and prices are still unknown), then comes the 45GX950A. It takes up the specificities of the 45GX990A, but its curvature of 800R is fixed here. This second WOLED screen (with RGWB subpixels) also offers LG's AGLR technology to prevent reflections and glare. DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C (90W) ports are included alongside Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies.

An all-in-one screen under webOS to complete

Finally, the 39GX90SA is a monitor that aims to be a multimedia hub (or small connected TV). Powered by webOS and supported by an L-shaped stand, this 39″ curved OLED screen (800R) in 21:9 format is designed for gaming, but also for directly playing multimedia content via streaming applications. No need to install it connect a device or computer to play streaming videos, even if there are USB-C ports.
