In the latest news, a leaker shared information on the Chinese version of the device on Christmas Eve: the Oppo Find N5. We discover precisely all the details about its technical sheet:

Smartprix added this December 27 that the OnePlus Open 2 would benefit from two selfie cameras: one of 20 Mpx inside and one of 32 Mpx outside, the same thing as for the OnePlus Open.
The media also shared images of OnePlus' future folding smartphone, based on a “prototype in final phase”. The opportunity to discover a copy in the vein of the first generation, with a less imposing photo module and thickness. According to rumors, we would be sure a fineness of around 10 mm.
To this would be added an IPX8 certification, guaranteeing resistance to immersion for more than 30 minutes at a maximum depth of one meter, compared to simple splash protection previously (IPX4).
Concerning the release date of the OnePlus Open 2, the 1st quarter of 2025 still seems relevant. A launch at the very beginning of the year in China would potentially take place (under the name Oppo Find N5), followed by an international officialization in early March during the MWC in Barcelona.
