To kick off 2025, Apple TV+ is free for a weekend
Whether it's a late Christmas present, a way to kick off 2025 in style, or a method to attract new subscribers, the initial approach remains the same: this weekend, On January 4 and 5, Apple is giving everyone free access to the catalog of more than 250 works from its Apple TV+ streaming service. Good news if you are not already directly subscribed to it (€9.99 per month) or if you do not benefit from it via Canal+.
What to watch on Apple TV+?
This date is not a coincidence, since January 17 finally begins the awaited season 2 of Severance. There is no doubt that many free viewers are likely to pay a few euros to return to the world of the sci-fi series after seeing the first episodes this weekend (and who could blame them?).
If Apple TV+ only shines a little on the side of moviesside series on the other hand, it is not the quantity, and especially the quality, that is lacking. If you like sci-fi in particular, all you have to do is look at: Silo (season 2 is in progress), Dark Matter, Foundation, For All Mankind or even Monarch only have a sample.
Lots of science fiction, but not only
Comedy side Ted Lasso also remains a must, while this year the new seasons of Shrinking or even Slow Horses have once again found their audience. In short, two days may seem very short.
Apple has not indicated whether or not it will be necessary to log in with an Apple account before being able to enjoy films and series from the Apple TV+ catalog. Remember that the service is available in the form of applications on all media, but also a website.
