Last year, the Honor Magic 6 Lite had seduced his world. Solid, autonomous and curved, the smartphone only suffered from a few flaws that Honor seems to have corrected with its little brother, the Honor Magic 7 Lite. The latter is now official and offers an attractive technical sheet, led by a monster battery.

An imposing new generation battery

The latter indeed embraces silicon-carbon technology and increases its capacity to reach 6600 mAh (fast charging compatible up to 66 W). On paper, Honor promises three days of battery life and a smartphone that is still thin and light: 7.98 mm for 189 g. Its screen, still Amoled and curved, measures a comfortable 6.78″ (2700 x 1224 px at 120 Hz).

Designed to withstand drops of up to 2 m, the terminal is this time IP64 certified. Inside, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC supported by 8 GB of RAM. Everything is powered by Android 14 and the MagicOS 8.0 overlay, where there are some AI-powered tools, particularly for photography. Honor does not specify how long its smartphone will be updated, which was one of the weak points of the previous model.

Finally, on the sensor side, in the Matrix island slightly revised for the occasion, we find a 108 MP main sensor with OIS, a 5 MP ultra-wide angle and a 2 MP macro. Selfie enthusiasts will benefit from 16 MP on the front.

An improved model, but also more expensive?

The Honor Magic 7 Lite is set for release in the UK on January 15 for £399.99. The price in euros, as well as its release date in France, are not known. However, with this price across the Channel and its multiple improvements compared to the previous model, the price of the Honor Magic 7 Lite could well exceed €400.
