A few days before CES 2025, LG is already putting on a show. After presenting his entire new range of Gram laptopsthe South Korean manufacturer has lifted the veil on an LED lamp incorporating a video projector and a Bluetooth speaker.
Named PF600U, this new product takes the form of a sober white floor lamp, which can be moved without too much hassle with its weight of 7.5 kg. Its first use is as an LED lamp, displaying 9 different colors, and offering 5 power levels.
When the round light surface is flattened, the floor lamp becomes purely and simply a video projector with a brightness of 300 lumens and Full HD definition (1920 x 1080 pixels). We are therefore not talking about high-end display quality here, but a simple solution for displaying content in the evening when it is very dark in the room.
LG also promises an image ranging from 30 to 120 inches, as well as stereo speakers for total immersion in its series and films. In terms of connectivity, HDMI and USB-C ports are included.
Incidentally, the company unveiled a short-throw video projector: the CineBeam S. The size of a compact cube of 110 x 160 x 160 mm, it benefits from a light output of 500 lumens and displays a screen of 40 at 100 inches in 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels).
Inside we also find LG's operating system, webOS, and stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos.
For the moment, the price and release date of these two devices have not been announced. Information that will obviously wait until next week with CES 2025.
