The connected watch market is more than diversified, and the different players do not hesitate to differentiate themselves to stand out from the crowd. Amazfit thus plays the value for money card to seduce, without neglecting the features offered. This is also the case with a new model announced at CES 2025: the Active 2.

Starting at $99 in the United States, it has a more compact stainless steel case than the first generation. There is also a 1.32-inch round Amoled panel instead of a 1.75-inch square screen, as well as a more than comfortable brightness of 2,000 cd/m² (compared to 546 cd/m²).

The latter comes with a silicone bracelet, ideal for physical activities. A more premium version at $129 is also available, adding a sapphire screen protector and a leather strap to the standard version.

The Amazfit Active 2 then embeds a new BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor to precisely record data about heart rate, blood oxygenation rate (SpO2) and even stress level. Sleep analysis is also included, making it a complete connected watch for health monitoring.

It is also possible to track your physical activity, with support for more than 160 different workouts. As a bonus, the watch benefits from a barometer, offline maps and turn-by-turn routes.

Strong point compared to watches running Wear OS and watchOS: autonomy. Amazfit indeed speaks of an endurance of 10 days on a charge, and 21 hours with GPS activated. The announced recharge time is two hours. We can also mention the presence of the Zepp Flow voice assistant or Zepp Pay for making NFC payments.

The Amazfit Active 2 is currently available for pre-order in the United States for deliveries mid-January 2025. Internationally, the launch is scheduled for February.
