Galaxy S25: Samsung confirms the date of its Galaxy Unpacked event and is already offering you €50
The Galaxy S25s continue to make headlines, through a number of rumors. Good news, one of them has just been confirmed!
While the CES 2025 is in full swing, Samsung has officially started the countdown by announcing its Galaxy Unpacked event, which will be held on January 22, 2025 at 10 a.m. (local time), or 7 p.m. (French time). Like last year, it will be about the new Galaxy S series of smartphones, with the difference that this year, the range could be enriched with at least one new model; the visual accompanying the conference announcement actually shows four products. This launch will again be held in California, near Silicon Valley, and more precisely in the city of San Jose.
In the meantime, the invitation from the South Korean firm already sets the tone by evoking “a new chapter in the history of mobile AI”with “Cutting-edge Galaxy innovations, designed to simplify every aspect of your daily life”.
AI of the new
According to various rumors, Samsung is indeed considering presenting four flagship models: the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and a new feature, the Galaxy S25 Slim. All these devices will integrate hardware and software improvements, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, an area in which the brand wishes to establish itself against the giant Google, while Apple is barely entering the race with its suite of functions Apple Intelligence.
The range should therefore be composed as follows:
- Galaxy S25 and S25+: These two models would share a similar technical base, with the S25+ distinguished by a slightly larger screen and battery.
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: Still equipped with the S Pen, the most upscale version would adopt a more rounded design and a screen with ultra-thin edges, without forgetting a complete photo section and even higher performance.
- Galaxy S25 Slim: This new version would be more compact and lightweight with an ultra-thin design. Despite its reduced format, the S25 Slim would have a 6.66-inch screen, a 200 Mpx main photo sensor and a 5000 mAh battery.
An attractive teaser and a first reduction offer
Samsung has posted a short teaser online showing the outlines of its future smartphones and hints at AI-related features. The brand has also already opened reservations, with the possibility of benefiting before January 22 from a reduction of €50 for a pre-order.
