Panasonic has just unveiled its new series of Oled televisions at CES 2025. The Z95B will therefore logically replace last year's Z95A which passed our tests with flying colors with perfect calibration and an efficient dedicated sound system.
A new panel for more brightness
The Z95B series stands out with its just-revealed next-generation RGB tandem panel on LG TVs. We expect better coverage of color spaces as well as a higher peak light which could exceed 2000 cd/m2. Oled technology would therefore come close to what can be found on Mini-Led televisions which easily exceed this level of brightness.
Panasonic has also redesigned the design of its TV by adding a cooling system called ThermalFlow in order to maintain high brightness, it remains to be seen if the difference is felt in our tests.
An even better sound system on paper
Audio-wise, Panasonic TVs generally don't disappoint, thanks to a small built-in soundbar and a rear bass woofer. This year, the design changes from last year, with the speakers placed differently to enhance the surround experience.
Fire TV at the bar and gaming high-flying
On the OS side, we stay on Amazon's Fire TV which has been integrated into televisions since last year with the host of associated applications. Players are not forgotten either with 144 Hz refresh rate and G-Sync and Freesync compatibility, enough to play in good conditions on console or PC.
The Z95B will be available in model diagonals of 55, 65 and 77 inches, but we do not yet know the prices of the different models. We should expect prices similar to last year, which were quite high let's admit it, the 65-inch model being sold for no less than €4,000 when it was released.
