Ultrahuman is one of the manufacturers of the most famous connected rings, alongside notably Circular which has just presented its Ring 2but also from players such as Samsung, whose Galaxy Ring has been available for a little over six months.

The brand is taking advantage of CES in Las Vegas not to formalize a new generation of connected devices strictly speaking, but to unveil three luxurious versions of its already available products. The Ultrahuman Rare plays the precious metals card to appeal to those looking for a connected ring, of course, but also a piece of jewelry.

Ultrahuman Rare

Concretely, the Ultrahuman Rares integrate the usual elements of the brand, namely a motion sensor, a temperature sensor and a PPG sensor dedicated to measuring heart rate and blood oxygen level. The rings are associated with the manufacturer's usual application, which provides an analysis of sleep quality, a stress index, recovery advice and, of course, sports training modes. But unlike its other rings which feature a carbon-reinforced titanium finish, the Dune and Desert Rose versions are dressed in 18K gold, with the Rare Desert Snow model in 950 platinum. The rings are not thicker nor wide, since Ultrahuman mentions dimensions of 8 mm (width) and 2.45 mm (thickness).

Luxurious materials which justify a price well beyond that of a Ring Air (€379): the rings are advertised at prices varying between £1,500 and £1,800, or €1,800 to just under €2,000.

Ultrahuman, which usually offers its users a subscription to unlock certain features, grants with Rare free access to its current and future PowerPlugs, that is to say to its platform of mini-applications allowing access to certain options. This is the case for the atrial fibrillation detection function using nighttime cardiac monitoring.

Added to this is free lifetime coverage via the UltrahumanX service, which provides insurance against damage that could affect Rare rings. Those who wish to treat themselves to a model will have to go to London or Paris, Ultrahuman announcing the marketing of its spring rings by the end of this first quarter of 2025.
