XCOM® 2 is the sequel to the hit strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The Earth has changed and is now under extraterrestrial rule. With everything against you, you will have to rebuild XCOM and launch a global resistance movement to regain control of the planet and save humanity.
• XCOM ON THE RUN: Take control of the Talion, an alien supply ship converted into XCOM's mobile HQ. Thanks to the new gameplay, you will be able to choose where to send your men, how to gain support from the population, and when to fight.
• RECRUIT FIGHTERS: with five soldier classes and their own skills, create soldiers adapted to your strategies.
• TACTICAL COMBATS: the new gameplay system offers new possibilities in combat. Hide to ambush enemy patrols, and loot powerful equipment and artifacts from their corpses. Protect VIPs and save your injured comrades by transporting them to an extraction point.
• NEW ENEMIES: find a wide variety of enemies, including new alien species and members of the ADVENT organization, charged by the extraterrestrials with enforcing their law, for a unique tactical challenge.
• STUDY, DEVELOP, IMPROVE: Configure and upgrade the Talion to grant new abilities to XCOM agents on the field. Use your scientists and engineers to study, develop and improve your weapons and armor according to your needs.
• A MULTIPLAYER MODE: form squads by combining human and alien units and face other players on randomly generated maps.
