Yaber unveils an ultra short throw mini video projector and a model for just €200
CES 2025 is officially launched this Tuesday, January 7. Like many other manufacturers, the day before the opening, Yaber unveiled some of its new products visible at the Las Vegas show. Let's see what exactly its new video projectors, the K300s and the L2 Plus, offer.
Yaber K300s: compact ultra-short focal length
Priced at $1,000 from January 15, the Yaber K300s offers an ultra-short projection system (0.18:1) for a 1080p image of up to 120 inches with only 32.8 cm of distance. Yaber promises triple RGB laser technology with 1000 ANSI lumens brightness and “vibrant colors” (150% NTSC). The MEMC function is on board to provide a smooth image, as well as three-second autofocus and automatic keystone correction. In any case, the price appears very light for an ultra short focal length model of its kind.

Two 15W JBL speakers with Dolby Audio compatibility are included. The whole thing, which measures 29 x 22 x 8.3 cm, is powered by Google TV. Enough to benefit from numerous native applications.
Yaber L2 Plus: a more affordable solution
Next comes the Yaber L2 Plus, much more reasonable since it is marketed at $200 from the second quarter of 2025. Featuring a projection ratio of 1.35:1 up to 150 inches and a 1080p resolution at 60 Hz, it is limit to a brightness of 700 ANSI lumens. Two JBL speakers are still there, but limited to 8 W. A tilting stand allows you to personalize your experience, while traditional automatic image adjustment systems are there.

Like the L2 before it, this L2 Plus will be available in a special Keith Haring edition. In terms of dimensions, this video projector measures 227 x 204 x 184 mm. Apps for different streaming services are also integrated, but Google TV is unfortunately not present. Will this L2 Plus compete with Xming? Episode One of Formovie offered at a similar price?
