Google will soon be able to read a summary of your important news of the day
A few months ago, Google launched Notebook LLMa simple way to summarize your notes, but also to provide an audio version of said summary. This essentially allows you to generate a sort of personal podcast allowing you to listen to what is in your notes rather than having to read everything on your own. Today, Google announced Daily Listen, which will use a similar process to provide you with personalized audio content that summarizes important news based on your specific interests.
Your news condensed into 5 minutes of audio podcast
To provide such audio summaries of news that may be of interest to you, Google intends to use your interactions with Google Discover to determine what is of interest to you and what is not. Once all the information has been compiled and summarized, Daily Listen then generates a sort of small audio podcast of approximately 5 minutes which brings together all the recent information that may be of interest to you. Hence, however, the importance of interacting regularly with Google Discover in order to obtain the most personalized summary possible.
Currently, Daily Listen is a feature only accessible in the Search Labs of the Google application (top left of the application), on Android and iOS devices. And as with most new developments on the artificial intelligence side, we will have to wait a little before it arrives here: in fact, Daily Listen is currently only available in the USA. It will therefore be necessary to wait for this trial period to meet its small success there, before Google integrates the function here.
