CES 2025 — TCL unveils the Playcube at CES, an intriguing and affordable portable video projector
Don't ask me what the image projected by the PlayCube is.
If rumors about the release of a video projector TCL A1 have been heard recently, it is finally another model which will be released first in France. The PlayCube was barely mentioned during TCL's big announcement conference, but this small portable projector was definitely present at the manufacturer's booth.

A cubic projector with an original design
The PlayCube has a fairly original and rather cute cubic design, decorated in a rather pleasant green. It is really compact and can therefore fit into a backpack without problem and is equipped with a small speaker on the side. A whole part of the product can be rotated like a Rubik's Cube to adjust the tilt angle of the projector, a clever element, but we will have to make sure that it is really practical on a daily basis.

No technical characteristics on the horizon
At the moment, we know almost nothing about the PlayCube, except that it has a built-in battery. We imagine that the price should be affordable, and we hope that the definition offered will be at least Full HD. In terms of brightness, however, you should not expect a miracle, this type of picoprojector is generally quite weak.
