Galaxy S25: some additional photo improvements planned by Samsung
On January 22, 2025, Samsung will announce its Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Slim and S25 Ultra. All four will be entitled to the chip of the year made by Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This promises great things in terms of performance, particularly for photo and video processing.
After discovering the existence ofa more efficient night mode on the Galaxy S25 Ultranew information has come to clarify other improvements made to Samsung's next devices. On Twitter/X this January 10, 2025, Ahmed Qwaider first pointed out that AI would allow you to benefit from colors and brightness improved by 43%.
The leaker adds in passing that switching from one sensor to another would be smoother on the Galaxy S25. Capacities ultimately linked to the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which would offer faster data processing, and therefore ideal for a task like this.
In a second publicationAhmed Qwaider also talks about the possibility of taking videos in higher resolution, and with less digital noise. He adds in passing that macro mode will deliver image quality four times better than that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra; and thata tool similar to Google's magic audio eraser will be there.
Finally, we learn of the arrival of the LOG format on the Galaxy S25, which should make it possible to capture films over a greater dynamic range while offering better color management in post-production.
