Let's be honest, this 2025 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show will not have transcended us. No technological revolution or shock announcements, but we were still treated to some nice surprises and unearthed some favorites. Here is our list.

1/ Nvidia GeForce RTX Series 50

Guillaume Henry, IT section manager
On the IT side, Nvidia has undeniably caught our attention with the announcement of its GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. The Santa Clara firm, with its leadership in artificial intelligence, is transposing its experience into the world of video games to offer tools that push performance even further, leaving the competition behind. The GeForce RTX 50 promise unparalleled capabilities thanks to DLSS 4 and foolproof fluidity, while further developing the level of graphics. We now wonder who will be able to compete with Nvidia, AMD having finally not officially presented its RDNA 4 architecture for graphics cards, supposed to reduce its performance deficit, particularly in terms of raytracing. Nvidia no longer seems to have an adversary worthy of the name in terms of innovation.

Raphaël, TV section manager
If the CES gadgets did not particularly catch his attention this year, a few announcements are still worth noting. It's hard to miss the new Nvidia graphics cards as gamer and creator, as the performance gains seem significant on this generation. The GeForce RTX 50s are likely to hit hard at the start of the year, boosted with AI-style hormones. They will allow you to play in 4K comfortably, with images per second that can be multiplied by 8 thanks to DLSS 4. An impressive technological feat.

2/ Samsung Micro-Led RGB

Marie Ciolfi, deputy editor-in-chief
Anyone who visited the Samsung TV stand will have been attracted by its 8K Micro-Led RGB TV proudly on display. This 98-inch panel with extremely thin borders is a real eye-catcher. This display technology is supposed to considerably improve the coverage of the color space, increase brightness and enhance contrasts.

By using blue, red and green LEDs instead of white LEDs, this display technology would also avoid the effect of blooming (halo effect around bright objects on a dark background). If the TV exhibited at Samsung is only at the concept stage – and could be available on smaller sizes, why not in 2025 –, Hisense for its part presented the same technology on a final product:e Trichroma 116UX is a 116-inch technological monster, which will have shone at this show.

3/ The arrival of Steam OS on portable consoles

Karl Pawelski, videographer
Since the Steam Deck, the portable consoles follow one another and all look a bit similar, namely console PCs with a little too rigid ergonomics, with a Windows interface not always adapted to this type of machine. So, seeing Lenovo put water in its wine by offering a variation of its console under SteamOS is truly pleasing, because it is clearly going in the right direction. Especially since no Windows also means no paid OS, therefore a lower cost for the console. Come on, just add an Oled screen and we'll be really good…

4/ Asus ZenBook A15

Diogo Ribeiro, IT journalist
This choice may seem curious in the middle of the barnum of monstrous new graphics cards and other ever more powerful mobile processors. But it is indeed a small laptop that impressed me during this CES 2025. More precisely, the very light Asus ZenBook A15 and its impressive construction at 980 g.

Asus releases a 980 g Zenbook only in Snapdragon

This Ceraluminium laptop (a specific treatment of aluminum) is crazy light, without seeming fragile. To top it off, its keyboard is of good quality… It remains to be seen if the Snapdragon low cost of the Qualcomm chip it carries, will hold up.

5/ XoMotion exoskeleton

Bastien Lion, video journalist
If we had to keep only one announcement from this CES 2025, the first would undoubtedly be the exoskeleton from the Canadian brand Human in Motion. Or rather the story behind this product. This is a device that allows people with lower limb disabilities to walk again, mainly for rehabilitation purposes at the moment.

The exoskeleton, called XoMotion, was presented on site by Chloë Angus, victim of a spinal cord tumor. So, seeing her rise up and take a few steps with the XoMotion, on which she worked with Human in Motion, there was something truly striking, the technological coup that commands respect. After all, maybe my legs don't hurt so much from walking so much.

6/ Technics EAH-AZ100 headphones

Arthur Letang, audio journalist
If we had to remember only one audio product presented at CES 2025, it would undoubtedly be the headphones true wireless EAH-AZ100. According to Technics, they offer even more precise sound than their predecessors, while having been miniaturized for greater comfort. Autonomy would also be doubled and connectivity extended without a price increase.

Technics announces the most advanced wireless headphones in its history

This may seem like a lot, but Technics' known attention to detail leads us to believe that these EAH-AZ100s will have everything to position themselves as the best in-ear headphones on the market in 2025.

7/ The ecosystem for animals

Ophélie Maillot, home and health journalist
In the aisles of CES in Las Vegas, among the thousands of tech products, we found our breath of fresh air: shelters for birds and insects monitored by a cute camera. This could be akin to voyeurism, but these devices allow us to learn more about ecosystems that are often inaccessible.

Bird Buddy has been offering connected birdhouses for three years now, but it's the Petal camera that has captured our hearts. Equipped with magnifying lenses, it is equipped to observe the small ecosystem installed at home.

This camera can be planted in the ground, wrapped around a branch or attached to a beehive, for example. It then becomes a distraction for the most curious. More than that, it makes it possible to identify the species filmed using artificial intelligence. How does a beetle behave, how often does a bird eat? So many questions that will find their answers thanks to the Petal.
