DAZN: a definitive reduction in prices and an offer of 10 euros for those under 26

If the sports streaming service does not reach 1.5 million subscribers by December 1 (it would be around 500,000 today), the LFP could look for another broadcaster. The first lever to pull is obviously that of price. After various promotional periods, DAZN has decided to lower its prices in a concrete way.

A reduction for everyone now, and soon for those under 26

In an interview with our colleagues from Le Parisien, Brice Daumin, boss of DAZN France, listed several upcoming changes for the platform.

One of them is also effective now: the Unlimited monthly subscription increases permanently to 19.99 euros per month, instead of 29.99 euros previously. This price will also be the one charged when the championship resumes next summer.

Note that from Friday January 3 to Monday February 3 inclusive, the mid-season pass to follow the return phase of Ligue 1 is also available at the reduced price of €69.

But that's not all: from next February, as other services already do, those under 26 will be able to subscribe to DAZN at an even more attractive preferential rate: €9.99 per month.

DAZN expands its content after “listened to the fans“

Finally, improvements beyond prices are planned to try to satisfy football fans. The boss of the platform indicates in particular that all matches will now be covered by three people: a commentator, an expert and a pitchside journalist.

On Sunday, the multiplex around two to three matches stretching from the presentation of the match at 3 p.m. until the post-match of the match at 9:05 p.m. will be back.

Finally, from this Monday, January 13, a talk show called In the Zone will be broadcast from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (initially unencrypted). Ambre Godillon and Walid Acherchour will receive guests there, starting with comedian Nordine Ganso.
