In a Tokyo of the near future, detective Kaname Date takes on the case of a mysterious serial killer. In his quest for clues, Date must comb through crime scenes, but also dreams. THE STORY
A woman's body is found on a rainy November night, perched on the horse of a carousel in an abandoned amusement park. The victim was stabbed multiple times and his left eye was torn out of its socket.
Metropolitan Police Department officer Kaname Date arrives on the scene. He recognizes the woman. Suddenly, he hears a noise coming from inside the ride.
He forces his way into the central pillar of the carousel and finds a young girl there. Clutched in his hands, an ice pick covered in blood…
