The Legend of Tianding is a side-scrolling action game about Liao Tianding, the legendary hero of the Taiwanese people.

THE TAIWAN ROBIN HOOD

Play as Liao Tianding (aka Liāu Thiam-Ting), Taipei vigilante, wanted by the Japanese colonial authorities.
As this legendary outlaw, steal from the rich, feed the poor, and fight for justice on the streets of Taipei in the early 20th century.

Based on real events, situations and people, The Legend of Tianding explores an often overlooked place and time, and presents it in the style of a traditional Chinese comic book.

KUNG-FU FIGHTS

Face the colonial authorities in style, armed with a tantô, a scarf tied to your belt and lightning-fast kung fu techniques, in technical and close fights.
Execute high-flying aerial combos, steal your enemies' weapons, use your sling and grappling hook to fly from one end of the battlefield to the other… In short, introduce the oppressor to the taste of the terror!

Explore Taipei's Dadaocheng district as it was in 1900.
Cross colorful streets like the wind, climb onto the roof of a speeding train and disappear into dark sewers, all in the retro style of a traditional Chinese comic book.
