Signature FH25LMTH: the ultimate washer-dryer from LG
In 2017, the LG Signature LSF100W washing machine broke records that it still holds. Sold for €3,000 when it was released, the most expensive model in our comparison was also the subject of the longest test ever written for a washing machine on Les Numériques; more than 17,000 signs according to our counting software!
Unfortunately, and unless a specific test protocol is developed soon, this record is not expected to be beaten by the LG Signature FH25LMTH since it is a washer dryer. This does not prevent him from adopting the small additional washing machine called sidekick placed horizontally under the main appliance, designed to clean small loads (4 kg maximum) of fragile laundry (such as lingerie, woolens, etc.) or baby clothes.
If this small washing machine does not really have any sophisticated innovations, this is not the case for the model placed above which includes almost all the technologies developed by LG to take care of laundry. Thus we find the ezDispense detergent distribution system, the water distribution nozzles in the TurboWash 360° drum or even artificial intelligence: for some time now, LG washing machines have been using AI to facilitate handling, improve washing results and preserve textile fibers.
This is of course the case here and tech-savvy washerwomen will be delighted to learn that the LG Signature FH25LMTH can be configured using the LG ThinQ application. This can also monitor water and electricity consumption, provide advice on the best way to treat a stain, serve as simplified access to after-sales service or even enrich the selection of programs for washing very specific textiles (soft toys). , professional clothing…).
The LG Signature FH25LMTH can of course be controlled directly via the device's control panel. Once again LG plays the “wow” effect card with a fully touchscreen interface, inherited from the Signature LSF100W. However, the newcomer also sports a few sensitive keys to turn on the device and start the cycle in particular.
Huge washing and drying capacity
The LG Signature FH25LMTH accommodates a 6 Motion Direct Drive beltless motor. The latter must drive the XXL drum capable of accommodating 25 kg of laundry for washing and 13 for drying according to the official Korean LG website. In this regard, let us point out that the LG Signature FH25LMTH is much larger than a standard machine since it measures 70 cm wide (compared to 60 cm standard), 134 cm high (instead of 85 cm) and 83 cm wide. depth (60 cm).
Obviously, on the drying side, the Korean manufacturer chose a heat pump to rid textiles of humidity, a technology which has two advantages for this use. First of all, it consumes much less energy than traditional heating elements or the condensation system which, in addition, consumes a lot of water. But above all, the temperature cannot exceed 60°C, which avoids damaging the fibers of the linen.
For the moment, no marketing date for the LG Signature FH25LMTH
