Chassis, connections, screen of the Asus VivoBook Go 14 S1404VA-DRNK371W
Certified to the MIL-STD-810G military resistance standard, this versatile laptop has an elegant and discreet appearance thanks to its thin and light compact light silver design.
This laptop PC integrates correct connectivity with its USB-C, its useful HDMI video output to easily connect it to a TV or a monitor for example, its Wi-Fi 5 ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless modules for connections and communications remotely, its audio port but also its 3 USBs including 2 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) providing transfers up to 5 times faster than USB 2.0 if you plug peripherals into it USB 3.0.
It’s a shame not to be dealing with more recent and efficient 6-axis Wi-Fi, or even a backlighting solution for the chiclet keyboard.
On the other hand, if you enter numbers quickly, you will appreciate being able to activate the NumPad functionality as soon as you need it. The NumberPad is a tactile numeric keypad that takes place at the touchpad level.
Remember on this subject that like all models whose format is less than 15 inches, this Ultrabook does not have the necessary space on the right to accommodate a physical numeric keypad.

Thanks to its IPS technology, the Full HD screen benefits from significant viewing angles, both horizontally and vertically.
As it adopts a 16:9 format, the screen lends itself well to displaying videos while its anti-reflective treatment ensures better visibility than a shiny panel in a bright environment (eg outdoors).
Performance, battery life of the Asus VivoBook Go 14 S1404VA-DRNK371W
The Asus VivoBook Go 14 S1404VA-DRNK371W is an elegant, compact multipurpose laptop designed for everyday multipurpose use offering significant storage space.
The SSD storage with a substantial capacity of 1000 GB represents a major asset for this configuration capable of accommodating multiple software and files.
The SSD guarantees good fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis. This results in particular in rapid starts/stops, processing, application launches and arrival on the online game cards.
The SSD therefore supports the core very well, which delivers good performance in everyday use, including for viewing photos and videos but also playing light games.
Performing small multimedia processing using multi-cores and RAM is also possible, such as light photo retouching or video editing.
This laptop PC is in fact driven by a low-consumption Intel Core i5-1335U Raptor Lake processor with 10 hybrid cores and Iris Xe graphics module, supported by a good amount of 16 GB RAM.
As for autonomy, expect around 6 hours of battery operation in light use for this Ultrabook that is easy to transport thanks to its thinness, lightness and compactness.
