Easy to carry the laptop Asus VivoBook S1405YA-DRLY244W silver offering a numeric keypad module NumPad benefits from fast 1 TB SSD storage which reinforces its responsiveness and USB-C connectivity. This thin and light compact Windows 11 laptop with a 14-inch IPS 16/10 Full HD screen is suitable for everyday use with its 16 GB of RAM and its AMD Barcelo Refresh Ryzen 7 7730U Octo Core processor with Radeon Vega 8 graphics module. However, there is no Wi-Fi 6 or backlit keyboard here, which is regrettable.

This laptop PC has an elegant and discreet look with its thin and light compact light silver design.

The wired connectivity offered by this laptop is good, consisting of 1 USB-C, an HDMI video output useful for easily connecting it to a monitor or a TV for example, an audio port or even 3 USBs including 2 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) ensuring transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 devices are connected.
On the wireless side, if Bluetooth 5.1 is correct – even if we would have preferred the more recent Bluetooth 5.2/.3 – it is disappointing to settle for Wi-Fi 5 ac when Wi-Fi 6 ax is both more recent and efficient.

It's also a shame to note that the chiclet keyboard does not have a practical backlighting solution to better distinguish the keys in a dimly lit environment.

Good point, however, for the presence of the NumberPad functionality. Once activated, a NumPad touchscreen numeric keypad takes the place of the touchpad, making it easier to enter numbers.
Like any model whose format is less than 15 inches, remember that the space necessary to accommodate a physical numeric keypad is lacking here.

Thanks to its anti-reflective treatment, the screen is more readable than a shiny panel in a bright environment (eg outdoors).
The Full HD screen lends itself well to displaying videos due to its 16:9 format, while its viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical, are large due to its IPS technology.

The Asus VivoBook S1405YA-DRLY244W is a stylish compact laptop for everyday use with high storage capacity.

It offers no less than 1000 GB, a significant capacity for storing many software and files.
More specifically, we find a 1 TB SSD integrated, offering the advantage of significantly improving responsiveness and fluidity.

On a daily basis, the SSD provides rapid starts/stops and application launches.
Because in addition to being shock resistant, silent and energy efficient, it is fast.

The SSD therefore supports the heart of this computer very well, providing good performance in everyday use, including for viewing photos and videos. Or even carry out small multimedia processing using RAM and multi-cores, such as light video encoding or photo editing.
