Xiaomi 15 Ultra: its official release would be imminent
The launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is officially confirmed for February 2025. This announcement comes from Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi's smartphone division, via his account Weibo. Although he did not specify an exact date, he indicated that the release would be shortly after the Chinese Spring Festival, which begins in late January. February therefore seems to be the chosen month.
Previous rumors already claimed an arrival in February, with a possible presentation during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, alongside the spearhead, the Xiaomi 15.
A final point on the expected characteristics of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Concerning its technical sheet, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be equipped with the processor Snapdragon 8 Elite — the most powerful from Qualcomm — already used in the Chinese versions of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro.
In terms of design, we expect an imposing circular photo module at the back and a screen with four micro-inclined curves at the front. Fingerprint recognition will be done under the screen, via an ultrasonic sensor.
