Getting started with Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+: subtle changes
No offense to spoilers who are particularly active on the subject, Samsung's Galaxy S25s, recently announced by the South Korean manufacturer, are currently only three in number. No Slim versionso, but an Ultra detailed model hereas well as a Galaxy S25 and a Galaxy S25+. And these hide good news, being equipped with the chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elitejust like the S25 Ultra.

Unlike the Galaxy S24 and S24+, equipped in Europe with a Exynos 2400while the Galaxy S24 Ultra was entitled to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3the newcomers are not disadvantaged compared to the Ultra 2025 model. They are also equipped with the same amount of RAM (12 GB), the most compact of the trio therefore rising to the same level as its two companions. Unlike their predecessors, they are WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 compatible.

Galaxy S24, or almost
This is the essence of the hardware differences between the smartphones of 2024 and their cadets. Because from a design point of view, the resemblance is striking, even if the newcomers are 0.4 mm thinner (respectively 7.2 mm for the Galaxy S25 and 7.6 mm for the Galaxy S25+) and lighter by a few grams (162 g and 190 g). They retain the “flat” design of previous smartphones, however with new colors (midnight blue, sea green, light blue and gray) and photo modules surrounded by black. But you shouldn't expect to find Gorilla Glass Armor or titanium: there is an Armor aluminum chassis and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 screen protection, all complemented by IP68 waterproof certification.
The screen of the two smartphones, in fact, retains both its diagonal (6.2 inches for the S25, 6.7 inches for the S25+) and its Full HD+ definition for the first, QHD+ for the second. These Amoled panels, always pleasing to the eye, promise a brightness of 2600 cd/m².
On the photo side, the devices are a continuation of their predecessors with their triple module (50 Mpx wide-angle, 12 Mpx ultra-wide-angle and 10 Mpx x3 telephoto lens) unchanged at the technical level. Their battery (4000 mAh for the small model with 25 W charging, 4900 mAh for the larger with 45 W charging) is also strictly identical.
In light of these elements, suffice to say that the Galaxy S25 and S25+ are practically carbon copies of the Galaxy S24 and S24+. Their interest therefore lies in their potential power and in the intelligence they promise. They run on One UI 7 with Android 15 and always offer more AI to seduce.
