Ultra intelligent robots in China, a technological race that could change the world from 2025
It is no longer theFansbut the school of robots. This Tuesday, January 21, 2025, China inaugurated its first humanoid robot training center in the Pudong District (Shanghai). Called Humanoid Robot Kylin Training Ground, he plans to accommodate 100 robots this year and up to 1000 in 2027 to defeat them.
Engineers from several Chinese technological companies (Zhiyuan Robotics, Kupas Technology) plan to use 100 million high quality physical admissions by the end of the year. They thus hope to improve the capacities of robots in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) or public services.
The arrival of these ultra -intelligent robots is eagerly awaited in other sectors. The automotive industry where certain tasks require strength and technicality, or even health that requires extremely precise skills, need these “autonomous” machines. Proof of this is, the Chinese Humanoid robots market already represented 350 million euros in 2024 and should reach 2.1 billion euros from 2025. And even 11.35 billion euros in 2030.
In addition, the Chinese population suffers from demographic issues. By 2035, people over the age of 60 will represent almost a third of the population, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit group. Robots could constitute a solution.
Cap on world robot games
If China has launched such a titanic plan, it is also to challenge the United States at the technological level, said the chief scientist of the innovation center in the Global TimesJiang Lei. “Humanoid robots intervene to provide the necessary support and help to take up the challenges posed by the aging of the population. The integration of advanced intelligence technologies embodied and autonomous driving has released new capacities, allowing humanoid robots to become more intelligent and more flexible ”noted the scientist.
The center is preparing to unveil version 2.0 of its humanoid robot, called Deep Snake, highlighting the importance of basic technologies such as the linear articulation actuator to improve the performance and functionality of robots. This new falling peak since Beijing plans to organize this year the first world robot games.
