For the sixth year in a row, this operator has the best Wi-Fi in France

Bouygues Telecom recently unveiled a very high speed fiber bbox with a “TRUE” Wi-Fi 7. And for the sixth consecutive year, NPERF reveals that the operator has the best Wi-Fi network.

The results of the NPERF study show that Bouygues Telecom remains in the lead thanks to its network infrastructure and technical developments. The performance is higher than those of its competitors on several criteria such as the stability of the connection or the download speeds.

Bouygues Telecom may keep its place in 2025 for the seventh consecutive year with the new Wi-Fi 7 Bbox which obtained Wi-Fi Alliance certification. The box promises to improve flow rates and coverage. Its release is scheduled for Monday January 27, 2025.

In bulk, among the new features of the new BBOX Wi-Fi 7: better management of the connection of several devices and optimization of network traffic. The operator worked on the extension of the cover to reach all the rooms of a house, even the most distant.

Investments in research and development of Bouygues Telecom therefore focus on improving Wi-Fi. Efforts mainly relate to the increase in flow rates and the scope of wireless coverage. The 2024 NPERF report confirms the success of this strategy adopted by the operator.
