Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat follows the adventures of Morgan Bernhardt, the commander of the mercenaries Grudgebringer and chief of the Grudgebringer cavalry regiment. Formerly star student of the great academy of officers of the artillery school, the love of Bernhardt for gold and glory had him expelled from the school and led him into the welcoming arms of the Mercenary life.
