Concorde, celebration of half a century watchmaker

Animated by the initial® caliber, the third movement designed and assembled in France by the Pequignet factory, the Concorde is part of continuity by calling on the French watchful talents defended by the house. Its prestigious double-sensitive reassembling system provides a 65-hour “proof” “weekend“ proof ”reserve, capable of covering the entire weekend. The Concorde also has a counter allowing the semi-instantaneous display of the date thanks to a patented complication of the initial® caliber. The initial® caliber also meets a requirement for sustainability of the house: all its components are sourced within 80 km from the manufacture; 72 % are French.

On the design side, a new signature mesh, inspired by the iconic Moorea, has been developed exclusively for Concorde. Its treadpin links are a subtle wink to the obelisk of the famous Parisian square whose Concorde borrows the name. Pequignet thus revives his DNA by creating, 39 years after the Moorea launched in 1984, a new bracelet designed by its French engineers-designers.
