Sustainability is at the heart of the concerns of most smartphones manufacturers, who resist their products to everyday vagaries a real sales argument. This is the approach that Realme, more and more present on the hexagonal market, chose for its latest entry -level model, the C75. It completes a historically very affordable C range, but brings it some interesting new features, especially since they are infrequent in its price range.
The C75, therefore, relies on an IP69 certification to stand out from the lot of entry -level smartphones. This guarantees its resistance to immersion in water, and even to hot water, since this is what distinguishes the IP68 and IP69 certification. The mobile does not stick to it, since it is also certified “Rugged Smartphone” by the organization Tüv Rheinland, which we know especially for its labels dedicated to screens. The brand adds a third stamp, signaling its shock resistance according to the MIL-STD 810H standard (label that the smartphone does not hold in full, however) to shocks. Another rather original point: the smartphone is equipped with a protective window with shock and scratches, which is quite rare on low -cost smartphones. Realme opted not for Gorilla Glass signed Corning, but for the Armorshell of the company Cooley, much less known. Regarding the battery of its smartphone, the brand advances “A lifespan of four years and an exceptional resistance to perforations and compression”.
So many arguments are to be compared to an otherwise modest hamphone. It is a 4G terminal with a 6.72 -inch Full HD+LCD screen, but also a Mediatek Helio G92 chip accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. On the back, only one photo module is available (50 MP sensor). It seems, even if Realme does not specify it, that a second module accompanies it; It is in all likelihood of a depth sensor. On the front, an 8 MP module is dedicated to selfies. Finally, we remember the integration of a 5828 mAh battery, generous given the weight of the device (196 grams) and its thickness (7.99 mm), compatible with the load at 45 W.
The thorny question of software monitoring
With a technical sheet adapted to everyday uses and promising good sustainability, the Realme C75 nevertheless arouses some questions. He indeed released under Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, and the manufacturer says no word in the number of years of updates to wait. A point that he will have to clarify to convince fully. In the meantime, count on a floor launch price, since mobile costs € 199 in 8/128 GB version (with a launch offer at € 169 until February 18), and € 30 e in 8/256 Go version .
