Asus launches the ROG Phone 9 FE: a cheaper model for game lovers
Last year, Asus marketed its new premium smartphone dedicated to gaming: Asus Rog Phone 9. Overall praised by the specialized press like the smartphone to favor if we are looking for a model dedicated to video games, it nevertheless requires a financial investment not to be taken lightly: even today, this model may be found for 1100 about euros. So to try to convince users eager for a more economical model, Asus now releases the Asus Rog Phone 9 FE. But not yet by us.
A less expensive model for game lovers
Thus, during the night, Asus released its new model on its Thai digital platformwithout warning anyone. We can thus discover its design (which is very similar to that of ROG Phone 8), but also its technical characteristics. Thus, this new model offers an OLED screen of 6.78 inch with a refresh rate of 185 Hz, with a brightness of 2,500 nits. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in place of the new Snapdragon 8 Elite.
This new model also offers an autonomy of 5,500 mAh, which turns out to be less than for the ROG Phone 9. On the photo side, we finally find the same thing as for the ROG Phone 9: a 50 megapixel main camera , an ultra-wide-angle sensor of 13 megapixels and finally a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the other hand, the ROG Phone 9 comes in a single version, with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, all for 29,990 BAHT, which corresponds to about € 850 per home. It remains to be seen how this price will result in a hypothetical European version.
