What are the Amiibo?

Amiibo are figurines or interactive cards that interact with your games. Use an amiibo when you play Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS or Wii U compatible software and you will discover new surprising features! Amiibo have different effects depending on the game: you can unlock new modes, weapons or improvements in characters, or even boost your amiibo capacities to make it a formidable ally or enemy!

With the NFC reader / recorder accessory (sold separately), you can also use amiibo with the Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo 3DS XL and the Nintendo 2DS!
