Oppo Find N5: Design, power, release date … Here is everything you need to know!
This time, it's official. Oppo is preparing to formalize his next folding smartphone, the Find N5and no longer hides it. The Chinese brand today announces the holding of an event on February 20, in Singapore (11 am French time). And there is no question of a launch limited to Southeast Asia, since it is a good mention of a “world presentation event”. Be careful however: Mondial does not mean that France will be concerned, Oppo still advancing at a step measured on the hexagonal market, since its commercial return to the country, in 2024.
Even if we still have to consider a French marketing of Find N5 with caution, the smartphone has something to interest. It has been the subject of many rumors for a few weeks, several of which are now confirmed by the brand itself. Starting with the delicacy of the device, however without figures: Oppo praises the slimming of its folding smartphone, without gap Between his two components when he is closed, and probably with a more discreet fold than ever in the middle of his flexible screen. Suffice to say that the manufacturer, by highlighting the finesse of his smartphone, has in line with Honor, including the Magic V3 (9.2 mm on the clock once closed) is to date thinly slim on the market. Oppo showing the design of his smartphone, we see that his slices are flat, in the wake of Find N3 (seen under the name of OnePlus Open In our regions), and that one of them hosts a physical switch, probably dedicated to vibrating mode. We also note that the photo block of the device is not very prominent – to be checked during a possible test – and that it bears the Hasselblad stamp, partner of Oppo and OnePlus.
A fine and water resistant smartphone
Other information is to be tooth. We will quickly pass on the colors of the Find N5, therefore declined in black and white, to focus on an element of resistance to everyday vagaries: IP certification. The folding terminal will be resistant to immersion not only in water (IPX8), but also to hot water (IPX9). A clear leap forward compared to the Find N3/OnePlus Open, capable only of surviving splashes (IPX4), and a certification that we see more and more in the universe of telephony; THE OnePlus 13for example, is IP69 certified. We finally speak – but without confirmation from the manufacturer – a battery of 6000 mAh and a load at 80 W.
Very promising, the Find N5 of Oppo (or OnePlus Open 2) leaves a number of questions unanswered, in addition to the markets on which it will be marketed. Its price still lacks the call, and we can expect, in view of its characteristics, that it is in the same movement as the Honor Magic V3 and the Huawei Mate X6both announced at € 1999.
